Through soaring windows or our spacious balcony, The Grand Ballroom at The Birchwood delivers enchanted views of Tampa Bay, Beach Drive, the downtown St. Petersburg skyline and the peaceful tree top dome of Straub Park.

A full catering kitchen is also provided with the Grand Ballroom. This full-service kitchen is dedicated to providing the same quality food and service that you would receive from our restaurant, Birch & Vine. Dishes made of local, organic ingredients will be cooked and served fresh from the kitchen to provide the best experience for all guests. Fresh pastries and baked goods are also prepared in our catering kitchen. Expect a top notch culinary experience down to the croutons on your salad, which are served fresh and hot as they are taken from the oven and delivered to your table.

AdditionalPrivate Party Spaces

The Birchwood also offers two private rooms and a garden space that can be reserved for smaller events. Perfect for celebrating birthdays or anniversaries, these spaces are on the ground floor, among our restaurant, Birch & Vine. Enjoy your special occasion in one of two rooms with windows overlooking Beach Drive. These beautifully decorated spaces will surely set the scene for a wonderful time with family and friends. The garden is a partially covered space with open air to the outdoors above the walls of shrubbery. A waterfall and hanging strands of lights set the tone for this lovely secluded party space.
